Ronnell Hampton (He/Him/They/Them) is a Principal Equity Strategist in the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department for the City of Los Angeles, where he focuses on issues like the digital divide, food security, and COVID-19 response. A former FUSE Corps Executive Fellow and Policy Manager at the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, Ronnell has led initiatives centered on racial, social, and environmental justice through policy development and community collaboration. With a background in urban sustainability, architectural drafting, and conflict resolution, he also founded Growing Greatness, a consulting organization focused on DEI, social justice, and community development. His work is driven by a commitment to improving outcomes for underserved communities through systemic and built environment changes.

Omar Cardenas
About Omar
Omar Cardenas (he/him) is a Human Relations Advocate at the LA Civil Rights Department, where he supports equity and inclusion initiatives. He holds a degree in Communication Studies from Cal State Northridge and began his career at StrengthUnited, developing violence prevention and safety education programs for diverse communities. He also has experience in Human Resources, where he contributed to equity and diversity efforts. Passionate about fostering inclusive environments, Omar is dedicated to ensuring equal opportunities for all. Outside of work, he enjoys family time, traveling, and exploring nature.
